Meeting Minutes – CORRECTED

Meeting start time: 7:40 PM

 

General announcement made that George Bailey passed away yesterday.

 

  1. Jim Jeneral of 11 Cottage Street presented research of his property, extending back to 1871.  He presented the documentation in a binder to Shirley Schofield to pass along to the Sharon Historical Society.
  2. Unitarian Church:  Joe Giammarco with T-Mobile requested a continuance.  He has hired an acoustical consultant, Cavenaugh Tocci to review concerns regarding the sound of the bell.  Joe advised that the cell tower at Unitarian Church is scheduled to go before the Zoning Board on March 11, 2009.

 

Mr. Bruce Creditor of 11 Fischer Road will represent neighborhood concerns.

 

MOTION: Susan Rich motioned to grant a continuance to March 11, 2009.

SECOND: Reese Schroeder

VOTE: Board voted unanimously to grant a continuance to March 11, 2009.

 

  1. Attendees of the Church presented information from the Unitarian Church web site indicating cost savings measures being taken.  The Historic District Commission will look into.
  2. Info: Grant application was declined.
  3. Info: Wilber School window mock-up review on site is scheduled for next Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM.  David Martin, Shirley Schofield and Reese Schroeder indicated they would attend.
  4. MOTION: Susan Rich motioned to adjourn meeting at 8:00 PM
